  "BACK THE BARK"  

Wood County Sheriff and
Wisconsin Rapids Police K-9 Units


The Rapids Raptors Youth Football and Cheer program proudly demonstrated its ongoing commitment to community service this season as players, coaches, and families came together to present donations to the Wood County Sheriff and the Wisconsin Rapids Police K-9 Units.


The contributions raised through practices, games, and generous community supportwill directly benefit the K-9 officers and the important work they do.

Officers from both departments attended the event with their K-9 partners, expressing their appreciation and highlighting how community support helps keep their units active, effective, and ready to serve.

Each year the Raptors pick a charity to support. This year's event, we will "Huddle up for Heroes” by bringing awareness to the American Legion Post 9, Wisconsin Rapids. All donations will go to the American Legion Post 9. Each team will show their support by wearing RED, WHITE, and BLUE.

 

Charity games will take place on:

 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5

for both Home and Away games.

 

We are LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!

The Raptors presented their donation to the

American Legion at their meeting on

Wednesday, November 13.

Here’s how you can help:

 Sponsor a FOOTBALL player, donate $8.00, per player, to have red, white & blue SOCKS to wear during the game.

In total, the Raptors were proud to donate over

$1,400.00 to support the mission of the

American Legion Post 9. The Raptors showed

incredible Raptor pride by "Huddling Up for Heroes!!"

 Sponsor a CHEERLEADER by donating $8.00, per cheerleader, to wear a red, white & blue BOWS during the game.

Sponsor a TEAM by donating the # of players x $8.00 to wear red, white & blue during the game.

Cash -or- check can be turned

into any Board Member.

We reached our GOAL!!!

All Athletes have been sponsored!!!
Our next goal would be to exceed our donations from last season. We can't thank our community enough for the support of our chosen charities. Each year you show us how amazing you all are.

Each year the Rapids Raptors Youth Football and Cheer program picks a charity to support. This year's charity games will take place the last two (2) weekends of the season during our home games, October 7th and 14th.

This year's event will be "PASS on the Gift of Life" and we are bringing awareness to organ and tissue donations by wearing the color ORANGE. All donations will go to the Central Wisconsin Gift of Life. Sponsor a player or two, or even a whole team to help pass on the gift of life!

Sponsor a Football player, donate $7.00 for a player to have a orange pair of socks to wear at their last home game.

Sponsor a Cheerleader by donating either $7.00 for orange socks, or $4.00 for a orange bow, or even do both for $10.00.


Checks should be made payable to:

...and those, or cash can be turned into any Board Member.

This year's event will be "Tackle Cancer" and we are bringing awareness to all cancers by wearing the color purple. All donations will go to the Cancer Center. Sponsor a player or two, or even a whole team to help tackle cancer!
